Redwoods Room and Board Scholarship

The Redwoods Room and Board Scholarship is awarded to a College of the Redwoods student who is experiencing homelessness or ongoing housing insecurity. This scholarship covers a semester’s costs of living in the CR Residence Halls and a meal plan.

ELIGIBILITY

1. Be currently enrolled as a CR student with a minimum of 12 units
2. Must be currently homeless or experiencing ongoing housing insecurity; preference given to students who have been verified as homeless through CR’s financial aid office
3. Have a completed financial aid file with the CR Financial Aid office by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application
4. Have a minimum of 2.0 GPA.
5. Have a completed CR Residence Hall Application on file
6. Have a Student Education Plan (SEP) on file
7. Complete the Wisconsin Hope Lab Survey during the semester
8. Award is not transferable to another college
